OVERVIEW

A smartwatch is a wearable computer in the form of a wristwatch at the heart

of which would contain a Programmable Arduino-compatible board with

ESP8266 Wi-Fi-module. All the components like OLED display, pulse-rate sensor,

temperature sensor, accelerometer sensor and others would-be connected to

the centralised Arduino board. The Wi-Fi module would not only assist us in

accessing time and date from the NTP server but would also help in sending

the sensors data, setting alarm, accessing contacts and a personalised calendar

using a web server that would synchronise with our smartphone through an

android app to assist us in monitoring health and fitness, environment, alert for

important event and also for calling facility through a mini-GSM module.

This smartwatch has following rudimentary functions:

  • Keeps you up to date with Environmental conditions.
  •  Boon for Self-Health analysis.
  • Ensures the safety of women and elderly people of our family by tracking real-time location.
  •  Automatic time updating.
  •  Assists you in Calling facilities.
